Word XP

To install the WordTalk toolbar to Word follow these 4 simple steps:

Step 1: Do you have the Microsoft .NET Framework installed?

In order for WordTalk to work, the Microsoft .NET Framework package is required on your PC. The WordTalk installer will detect if this is currently on your machine and if it not it will direct you to a website where you can download it. However, you may wish to download the .NET Framework package from this site.

Step 2: Download and Install WordTalk

  1. Download the WordTalk installer from the Download Page;
  2. Double click the WordTalk installer (wordtalk.msi);
  3. After starting the WordTalk Installer you well be presented with Welcome screen, click the Next button;

  4. Check the install location and click the Next button;

  5. After reading the Licence agreement and agreeing to its terms, click the Next button;

  6. Confirm the installation and click the Next button;

  7. The installation is now complete. Click the Close button;

Step 3: Add the WordTalk toolbar to Word XP

  1. Click on the Start button in the bottom left of the screen;
  2. Click on All Programs;
  3. Click on the WordTalk icon;

  4. choose Add WordTalk Toolbar to Word and click the Continue button;

  5. The install location of the plugin will be shown, click the Finish button to confirm and finish;

Step 4: Open Word

The WordTalk toolbar should appear beside the rest of the Word Toolbars at the top of the screen. If it doesn’t, from the View menu, go into Toolbars and tick WordTalk
